A Posteriori Estimator for the Adaptive Solution of a Quasi-Static Fracture Phase-Field Model with Irreversibility Constraints

چکیده
Within this article, we develop a residual type posteriori error estimator for time discrete quasi-static phase-field fracture model. Particular emphasize is given to the robustness of variational inequality governing evolution with respect regularization parameter $\epsilon$. The article concludes numerical examples highlighting performance proposed estimators on three standard test cases; single edge notched tension and shear as well L-shaped panel test.
